: Hooking a RO sander up to a vacuum is a great way to avoid spreading dust
: everywhere when sanding. Recent postings to this site have discussed the
: relative merits of various types and brands of sanders.

: Anyone have an opinion on shop vacs? Fein and Porter-Cable both make
: excellent high-end vacuums. I willing to spend $$ for a good one, but I
: can't decide which to get. Any other worthy alternatives?

I purchased a grizzly upright vac that mounts in the corner of my shop, it does not have wheels but it has great suction and picks up and traps dust very well. I normaly keep it hooked to my radial arm saw, but I have a small flex hose for sanding that I extended from the duct work and it really picks up the dust.
