Thanks everyone for the responses. First of all we chose the cheap way out with the epoxy 'cause we were pinching pennies in order to disappear for a fair bit down in New Zealand. Here in Insanely (crowded) Diego, S3 is a special order item that can be had for an arm, leg and a kidney. This no-name AE Yale epoxy was dirt cheap and came with a "if you're not happy with it bring the rest back for a refund" promise. The stuff has worked fine for us I suppose. Now, I've been asking around and I've heard that alcohol, acetone and thinner are used (personally alcohol is for drinking) however, I'm going to mix three batches of epoxy, add one of each solvent, and glass a test piece of thin ply using 6 oz glass. I'll report back the details within the next few days. Till then, remember: "Better living through chemistry!"
