I was going to try some small holographic stickers on some fishing rods I'm building, but shied away from them because the stickers seem to be plastic, and thus I didn't think the epoxy applied over the sticker would bond - may I'll try a sample tonight, anyway.

Another thought was to try to obtain some of the tiny holographic slivers of material that are used in finger nail polish - they are very small and are incorporated in a clear nail polish - I use the polish (Hard as Nails?) to coat some home made fishing lures, and they look great ( when applied, the actual slivers cover only perhaps 5% of the surface area of the piece.) I searched everywhere, but the only thing I could find is some of that "glitter" they use in making fiberglass "bass boats" used in tournaments - I don't want the kayak to look like some sort of holiday decoration. Anyone know where to obtain the tiny dry holographic slivers to incorporate into the epoxy coat?
