Yeah Dean, I have been in some of that paddling Drummond Island and the islands west of Sebawaing (sp?). I live on Lake St. Clair and paddle it. Often, it is 2-3', short set, chop. I just wanted to clarify in that post that I wasn't dealing with swells common to ocean kayakers. Where are you at? Dave, Fair Haven MI
