I recently bought the same sander Ross has. After considering the various models I found this new Bosch model seems to have some improvements over the older model, namely the double bearing design. This impoves runout which I imagine would reduce vibration. For about $50 more I went for it.

I've been working on a canoe but if I build another boat, it will have to be a kayak! This is a great board and a better resource than many canoe forums I've seen.

Also, now that I have the sander, I've since discovered that wet sanding the epoxy is more enjoyable.
