Don, Your hatch looks really great!! This would probably work, since laser toner will print on glass. Understand your concern about running glass cloth through someone elses printer. The safest way to run any fabric through any kind of machine is to iron it onto the shiney (plastic coated) side of ordinary freezer paper. Be sure to trim the edges of everything so they are clean and the cloth covers all of the paper. Problem is that the glass cloth sticks so well that it is hard to peel off without damaging it. But it can be done, just use 3.25 oz. satin weave, lighter cloth won't stand up to the peeling, and heavier cloth is too rough. As an aside, I will be running several yards of really thin silk and lightweight cotton flannel through my printer in a few weeks - don't expect a problem.
