looks like you're looking at med/lower volume boats that aren't exactly high on the stability curve (except for the Edisto) as the ches 16. Don't know what a west greenland boat between 15-17 ft is, Nicks guillemot and eric schades 16ft merganser seem closer to those boats in volume and initial stability than the ches 16. I weigh 175 and have a ches 16 with the shear dropped 1/2" (this before the LT version) and think it fits your volume description,but not the maneuverability of the Meridian and arctic hawks. CLC is going to be making a smaller North Bay in a few months but I would research Erics Merganser first.

Edisto,Meridian,Sparrow Hawk? The ch16 would fit between the Edisto and Meridian. as far as stability is concerned.
