I just got the book "Building your kevlar canoe" earlier in the week. It seams to have some very interesting building techniques. Such as build your strong back and put the forms on it like normal. Then instead of wood strips you strip it in 1" thick foam, shape it (what a mess), and cover it with 60 lbs. of joint compound, smooth it all out again. Then the part you have been waiting for Chris. They cover the enter mold with wax. Then the Glassing begins. The book shows two people just popping the canoe off the forms after the resin cured. It looks interesting.
