Hi Hank;

It's hard to believe anyone is behind me in the kayak building learning curve! ;-)

About a year ago a local discount outlet had some new-in-the-box Black & Decker 7-1/4" thin-kerf carbide blades stacked up for $2.99 each . . . I bought some, even though I don't really use my rotary hand saw all that much. Wow! They do a great job on the 10" radial arm saw as I found out last month, kerf about 0.075" and reasonably smooth. That is what I plan to use for ripping strips, as my borrowed 10" 1/3 hp bandsaw is just not up to the task.

Best Regards,

Spidey
