Hi Hank;

I'm working on the Georgian Bay and apparently all the plans from Laughing Loon call out 3/16" strips coved and beaded with 1/4" bits. If I ever find any clear lumber in this region, I'll let you know how it turns out . . .

Also, when you'r ripping a thicker board, do you cut the strips first and then rip them, or have the whole board ripped by a mill and then cut the strips? Pardon my dumb question, but I'm new at this.
