I heard that it worked better but never tried myself because I have a simplier way that worked for me. I would clamp the two strips close together, but noy touching, and saw the gap. I got a perfectly matching joint. This way I don't have to buy the router bits and as a bonus I don't have to waste more wood in order to cut the coves. Good luch!
