I'm hoping he does go after this project. I love the lines of those dories, but I personally have absolutely no use for one. I don't fish, but I love the boats. If he does build it, I'll get to help, but I won't be stuck paying for a boat I won't ever need!

Oh yeah, we made a 7" one out of a cereal box!

I'm not sure whether we'll do the final design or buy one. You do relatively little movement in the boat with respect to the movement of the surface of the water, so hydrodynamics in a drift boat are a lot less important than in a kayak.

I do plan to build a MacKenzie drift boat entertainment center! (After the single and double are built)
