My experience with a router table suggests that one gets more bouncing of the stock you are feeding than you realize. These strips are very thin and narrow and bounce alot. I had feather boards before and after, top and side as close as I could get them to the cutter and I had them really tight. That seemed to help in the splintering. I only had it on some very dry mahogany I ran through Earl
