They don't require the bake cycle. If not baked they will just take 24 hours to set. The 160 degree baking shouldn't be a problem with a kayak. The boat will get this hot inside sitting in the sun in the middle of summer. The epoxy on the boat will not be affected until the temp. gets above 240 F. The only problem may arise if the wood used had a high moisture content, but the temp. would still probably not be high enough to affect it.
