Thanks,

A re-man saw is a giant band saw running horizontal. It is used to rip stock to asmaller thickness. Running the stock thru this saw 2 times gave me 2 pcs. At 3/4" and one at 1/2" x 6" then I ran these boards thru the table saw to get my 3/16 strips.

What happened was, the saw blade waved up and down a bit causing inconsistent thickness thru each finished piece.

What I am thinking of doing is making a small jig to hold 4 or 5 strips on edge then running my plane over them to knock down some high spots.

Thanks
Marc Donnelly
