BTW, if anyone has a good source of clear cedar, I'm all ears.

I'm in the Poconos and I got my cedar from Medford Cedar in Southampton, NJ. They are very friendly and very helpful folks - a real pleasure to deal with. If that is too far for you they did mention that they supply cedar to 84 Lumber stores. If you have one of them near you check to see if they can get the lumber for you. At Medford I had an opportunity to look through their entire stock. If you're going to 84 Lumber you may want to ask how much choice you would have there before you commit to an order.
