I was too late to be fast.
What I did was to wait for a bright shinny lower humidity day and put the deck in the sun (a suntan!)
The results were dramatic, with the curvature coming out significantly in the first day.
Overnight I brought it in the house, where the airconditioning lowered the humidity even more. That gave visable help, but not as much as the sun.
About 4 days of that brought everything straight, and we glassed it "quickly".

Interestingly enough on the stern deck after 1 week some of the curvature returned, but not on the fwd deck.
