: Titebond II works for me, and my boats have been spending lots and
: lots and lots of time in the Texas sun all the way back to the
: turn of the century. I can't imaging needing much more of a
: torture test than that to prove a point. Heck, it's what I use
: on all my laminated Greenland paddle blanks too, have never have
: a hint of a problem anywhere. I have total confidence in the
: stuff. But then, I've also done time as a professional
: cabinetmaker, and know how to make good glue joints.

Even with the 2002GF experiment- I made a paddle repair recently and used TB III. I am not going to tempt fate on a whim. 2002 GF is good glue. It's what I normally use for dark wood. I used it on my kayak because it was on hand, I had a fresh gallon so I didn't think I'd run out, and because it was going to be sandwiched in glass so waterproofness wouldn't be an issue.
