While you are sanding it is not a problem, but a dab on the forms before glassing is a good idea. Unless you are doing it deliberately (as I do) you need to avoid accidentally epoxying the deck to the hull when you glass the deck.

Consider putting plastic tape along the top of the hull to stop the deck from sticking to it.

If the hull is still on the forms then you may be working in the wrong sequence.

Normally

Hull glassed outside

Hull taken off forms and glassed inside

Deck glassed outside

Deck glassed inside hatches etc done at this juncture

Join the two together

My way: hull glassed outside - hull glassed inside - deck taken off forms and glassed inside - Maroskes - deck joined to hull with sheer clamp - deck glassed outside and joined to hull in one operation with deck cloth - hatches installed.
