OK I think I made trouble for myself. I had used hot glue to hold the sheer strips in place. I didn't know I could get better glue until later. The strip would pop of here and there and I would stick it back down. Then I got the good hot glue. But all I did is put some on the surface along the sheer line. Holds great. But now my problem is when it comes time to sand the whole thing out that hot glue will be in the way. I know there is a guy who hot glues the whole works together in this manner. But I don't know what he does next.

The only thing I can think of now is to clean off the surface glue and redo it in the joint.????

Any thoughts out there.
