: If I understand you correctly, you temporarly hot glued the deck
: sheer strip to the hull sheer strip. If that is the case, I do
: that as well since I use no staples. Since I use external beams,
: only the forms are still in the boat when it comes time to
: seperate the two. I knock out all the forms via the cockpit
: opening and then run a razor knife blade carefully along the
: seam to cut the hot glue. Takes some work, but eventually it
: comes apart. Hot glue that is inside, needs to be scraped off
: before any sanding as you will just spread the hot glue.

Well that's close Rod. Except I have take off the glue that is on the surface and then put some in the joint I guess. Then I can then I can do all my sanding.
