: Looks great Etienne,

: Doesn't glassing over the installed fittings risk getting drips
: inside the tubes?
: Was this a concern? Was there a reason for installing the fittings
: before glassing?

: I like these fittings because after pulling the PTFE Wrapped
: mini-glue sticks is that the insides are smooth and the same
: dimension (I've easily pushed through unraveling deck line with
: no problem.) When I add a finish coat of epoxy I plug the holes
: with cut off bits of mini-glue sticks.

: :

With 4 ounce cloth which has a fairly fine weave there was no drippage inside the holes at all. I just worked as if they were not there.

I did it this way because, after drilling wider and filling, the extra glass covering the epoxy fill adds some waterproofing on top of the fill, not just at its edge for the thickness of the cloth and fill coats.

You can see from the picture that there is a good amount of extra glassing at thew edges of the hole.
