Bob,

I agree with the above recommendation for the kids.
However I built a Yost Sea Tour EXP for myself and could not reasonably get in the cockpit. I'm 5'8" and 240#. If I were to do it again (starting next week) I'll increase the size of the cockpit and raise the front cockpit frame height at least an inch along the centerline. I do like building the Yost boats. Except for my stitching.

Have fun, let us know how you do, I want to build a kid sized boat also.
