Skin-on-Frame: Offsets and stringers...

Hey guys...
I started on the Mod SeaTour 15 finally and I am drawing the offsets...
I notice that between the cut for the chine and the inside hole of the xsection there's only 3/4" of plywood. Is that correct? I've been looking at the sample of the SeaBee with all the measurements on the yost site and can't quite figure if that's right...

Aaaaand... the stringers come from a one side rough one side sanded 16' WRC board... do I need to sand the rough side???
As always... mil gracias!
