Tools: Sharpen plane

Hello All,
I sharpen planes on emery paper glued to 3/8" thick plate glass with the blades held in various wood jigs to hold them at a consistent angle. This is a method I found on the internet and works excellent. The plane I use 95% of the time was purchased from Harbor Freight for $2.50, one of the best tools for strip building ever. My question, this particular plane has a blade 1" wide and 1-1/2" long. I have not been able to build a jig small enough to hold this blade to sharpen. Is anyone out there using a similar sized plane and how do you sharpen it??
Thank you
Randy

It won't work, but this one will.
