What are ya gonna use 'em for? If ya just wanna run deck lines use a proper padeye ... either make 'em from webbing or buy 'em. My West Marine has small SS padeyes that cost about $2.00 each ... I've used 'em a lot. If ya wanna pinch off a line ... like for towing ... get a cam fairlead.

I've used the little one bolt SS electrical clips like those you found for stuff like running back band bungee ... but I didn't like 'em ... they pivoted around the single bolt and bent. I sure wouldn't want something clunky like that on the deck of my stripper unless I had no other alternative.
