I've found that one of my big costs (near $100) is for WRC for the stringers. What are you using (in non-builder-speak, if you don't mind) that you're pulling this off for $10?

: Skin and coating can really add up. My last boat was around $200 to
: build.

: My daughters new sea rover is a bit more.
: 1/2" MDE plywood (I could get at lease 2 more boats out of it)
: $20
: 1x2 furring for stringers $10
: 8 oz ploy fabric ~$40
: 2 part urethane $80 (migh get two boats out of this?)
: Aluminum (16) and welding (36) for coaming $46 (check this out at
: SSTIKS - I'm trying something new)

: Hope it lasts for a few years.

: foster

: The Sea Rover is ~17' long and 18" wide.
