Here is what I have into my son's scaled down Kidarka.

Leftover scrap plywood for
stations, stem and stern free
Artificial sinew and glue
leftover from another project free
Dowels
leftover from another project free
2 1”x4”x 10’ pine boards
for longitudinals $10

4’x12 canvas painters tarp $7

Dental floss $1

Oops can of exterior latex paint $5

Spray paint for decorating it $15

Quilting hoop coaming risor
From goodwill $1.50

1/4” for coaming lip
and decklines $7

I didn't need the spray paint, and I could have used some rope I had laying around, so I could have build this thing for under $25. I know the canvas painter's tarp won't last long, but he will only be able to paddle this one for about 4 years anyway before he outgrows it.
