I'm relegated to my 2 car garage ... which on the surface doesn't sound so bad ... except when ya consider I have 8 kayaks ... a full size 9' pool table ... tools ... lots of tools ... a hot rod Harley ... wood ... washer/dryer ... storage for stuff ... and other life's necessities. Not much room left to build a kayak ... although I've managed to build 3.

Absolute tops on my list is a work station ... aka workbench ... mounted on casters ... that's configured to do the work I do without having to do as much of the Rube Goldberg stuff to get stuff done that people with small shops and space limitations have to do. For me that means ... clamping options, electrical outlets, movable task lighting, drawers for storage, provision for a router station etc. A purpose built workbench would add a lot of efficiency in my shop.
