Skin-on-Frame: Nylon scratched

As you can tell i am a bit of a newbie to all this having made my first SoF and using it with delight.

Today i went out to a an Island that i had not visited before and landed on a rock shelf, quite safely and with no difficulty. But when i left the Island I scraped the bottom/side of the Kayak on a submerged sharp rock (I was looking at the other side of the kayak and navigating from what I saw there!)

When I got home I saw I have half a dozen scratches on the varnish, spaced a bit like a music stave, none have pierced the cover and i did not have any more water in the kayak than normal.

My question is:

Should i just re-varnish the scratches with a fine/small brush or re-varnish the whole area of the scratches (1.5 meters long.) [or even do the whole of the bottom of the kayak!]

Thanks
