Look at Duane Strosaker’s website. He laminates 3/4 inch Sitka Spruce into GP blanks. His grain orientation makes some good sense. Should work just as well with cedar. I use DAP Weldwood Plastic Resin Glue for paddles. Easier than epoxy, more water resistant than PVA, good open time.
