: Having accidentally purchased (via a friend) a 1/4inch RADIUS bead and cove
: router bit, I've got a similar scheme in mind for some time in the future.

Trouble is you need to use 1-1/2" thick stays for your tub to inlet the rabbit
for the floor. 1/4" B&C won't work on 1-1/2" thick wood.

Unless I'm missing something, you'll need C&B cutters for the full width which
are not a stock item. Pretty expensive sounding. I figured I'd go with beveled edged stays.

I want a 36" tub, big enough for one person, small enough to fill with to 115˚
water from a 40 gallon hot water heater.

I did a test for stay angle by cutting an 8 foot 2 X 4 with a fat 5˚ angle on both
edges. Cut the 2x to 3" lengths. Lay out half the blocks bevel to bevel on a table with bevels
down and duct tape the backs together. As I slid one end off the table and
lifted the center of the blocks they made half the arc of my tub circumference. I laid the
wood arc on the floor.

I did the same with the other half of the blocks to compete the circle, but came up three short
to complete the circle. So I made three more blocks, taped them in and it worked out perfect.

Finding a solution to a problem that doesn't create three new problems,
that's the trick.
