: You are right. I went to my workshop and got the bottle. It is apparently
: "A ONE COMPONENT POLYURETHANE WOOD ADHESIVE. (regular setting and
: fast setting)"

: An added benefit is that the bottle states that :"the vapour pressure in
: this adhesive is so low (whatever that means) that effectively, no
: dangerous vapours are released into the environment" So it is
: effectively non toxic to the user.

: Because it is activated by atmospheric moisture I should add that the
: shelf-life after opening is limited to perhaps one month. So two smaller
: bottles would be better than one large one.

: If you leave the cap off the whole bottle goes off in a day or two

I've found the polyurethane glues to be very noxious smelling (usually means toxic)and VERY moisture sensitive.

It will stain bare skin and is difficult to remove from tools.

It loves wet wood and if you use dry wood in a dry (winter) shop you can get in big trouble. The set glue looks good but will turn to power to the touch or under pressure.

If you suspect dry wood you must spray water on it before using polyurethane glues.

It does work well with moist wood and will not creep in high heat (southern, summer sun on dark deck) environments.
