I wouldn't be anywhere near the physical shape required to paddle one of those things--but with a small outboard (or an inboard) it would certainly surprise the other people out on the water!

The spec table on the flyak site shows a speed of 12 m/s, or about 27 mph, with 750 watts of input power. That is only one horsepower! I can get that much ooomph from a good-sized trolling motor, but the prop would probably need to be tweaked to get it to drive the boat at that speed. I wonder if the curve would keep going in a straight line with a 3 horsepower input.
