Thanks for the link, Ron. The Rave and the Trifoiler are both interesting boats in their own right. Unfortunately, they are both, currently, out of production.

Both of them are fast, have neck snapping G-force turns and accelerate out of tacks like a wild horse. They are both pretty complex boats with lots of parts to mess with and get right unless left setup on the beach of choice. They also need a fairly narrow bandwidth of sea state and wind conditions to do their bad thing, so you need to be in a location that can produce that set of conditions on a fairly regular basis or they become expensive toys with nothing to do.
