Go with what Rob, Mike and Kent said. Mahogany that size is about as rare as you can get. Very valuable.
Selling some to finance a few kayaks would be the better way to go.

If you want an idea of its value, post on any fo the fine woodworking sites.
:) Be careful, though, it might start a bidding war.
There's artisans that would name their first-born after you just to buy what you've got, even if it had to be by deed poll. :)
