For some reason the bulk of my message did not seem to appear in the post I just made. Perhaps someone could help me by explaining explain where I made an error or is it just one of those things that happens on occasion? In any case, I'll retype this and try again.

Jeff, after reading the responses to the message below I can't help but think that you wouldn't be happy with some of the boats suggested. They are all great boats,(especially the CLC boats), but since you weigh 125 pound you should have a boat designed for a low weight range. It's simply not reasonable to think that a boat will paddle well for a 125 pounder and a 225 pounder, which some of these models are designed for. Of the CLC boats I'd suggest a Chesapeake 16. It fits your weight perfectly and unless you have some really massive dogs, you should find more than enough footroom. CLC also has a program to modify boats and cut kits for folks with special physical needs and that may be the best option of all. There are probably other designs that would fit your needs, but whichever boat you consider I would urge you to look at it's designed weight paddler weight range first.
