Plenty of foot room - but I like to keep my feet angled on the pegs so that i'm firmly seated in the cockpit. That might not suit you - but I did test "sit" all of the CLC models before buying my kit & found that the "full size" CLC's (16, 17 & 18) felt extremely roomy in the cockpit including footroom. Another possibility would be the Sea Bright Skimmer, a skin & frame kit boat. I also built on of those. It's 16', extremely light, fast, tracks well etc. I'm comfortable in the cockpit of that one also. If you'd like I could measure the under deck height for you - just post the distance from backrest to your feet - & I'll get you the height.
