For my early projects I used Titan Epoxy Systems 760 epoxy system. It's made more or less locally in Lynnwood, WA. I came across it at the local boat shop in Everett, which saved me the trip into town (Seattle). Seems to be very similar to the other popular epoxies, though side-by-side on my bench the Titan hardener has a slightly darker honey tint than the System 3 I also have. On the wood, though, I can't tell the difference.

Noone recommended it to me; it was what that boat shop carried. I guess I may be the kind of shopper who prefers to see and hold the product in my hand rather than mailorder blind. Price seems to be in the West or System 3 range as opposed to the discount (?) Raka. It's doing a fine job so far on my truck canopy, if you can consider 3 months any kind of track record. I'd use it again with no special concerns; at this time I consider it equivalent to the majors.

Titan does not appear to have a website, so you'd have to find a local outlet the hard way, I'm afraid.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is also a local epoxy company in your area as well. I get the impression most of these guys buy their 'raw' material from the same large chemical manufacturers, then tinker with their own formulations for their proprietary product.
