I have built a cedar strip canoe and am in the process of building two S&G kayaks and have used Raka System on all three. Raka is about 50% the cost of the "BIG THREE" and the only "major" concern I have heard about it is that it 'fisheyes' That means there are tiny little spots that appear as if a spec of dirt or something landed on the epoxy as it is curing. While I did see a bit of that on my canoe, I have taken more care in cleaning and have put on thinner layers on the kayak and have yet to have the problem.

Not only is the epoxy cheaper at Raka but the fibrglas is much cheaper also.
