I'm guessing you're envisioning this installation before the end pour was completed, and it's a great idea for that.

Unfortunately, I've already done the end pour (using a dam before installing the deck). So I'd either need to drill holes big enough for the nut then fill the whole thing with epoxy, or risk something breaking loose when I don't want it to.

I may just do the regular hole-through-end for the carry handle, and rig other options for the running bow line and security.
