Haven't found my way out there yet but have talked to him on the phone a few times. I get the impression he was in the front when they started building these. Both solos he has are great boats and plans are reasonable. I thought Al was going to expand the building info on his site but it's probably more work than he figured. He also sells some materials at reasonable prices. Guessing you are close enough to take advantage.
