Porter Cable's routers and RO sanders are nice, Hitachi sliding compound miter saws are amazing. Skil Mag 77 worm-drive circular saws. Dewalt gets the nod for 18V cordless tools.

I hear you about the Bosch jigsaw--nice machinery. I really like the quick change mechanism--much less temptation to use the wrong blade, just because it's already installed and too much hassle to change to another.

: Working in the housing construction industry, I learned that certain brands
: are known for outstanding performance in specific tools. Milwaukee is
: known for it's Sawzall and power drills, Delta, for table saws and
: planers, Porter Cable for belt sanders and Bosch for jig or sabre saws.

: Bosch's jig saw is so powerful and accurate, has so many features it is the
: standard by which the others are judged. This saw does stuff you would
: never beleive a jig saw could do like cut through 2" stock and leave
: a smooth accurate edge.

: It's worth every penny and will last forever.

: All the best,
