It may be intelligent,,,but I've got the trickest "smaller is beautiful" deployment technique. Tie the two ends of the deployment lines to the perimeter line on either side that is one free-running loop. Grab the perimeter line on either side of the cockpit and pull in opposite directions, down or up the rudder goes! and it's cheaper.
