I'm in the midst of finishing off a CH18 with a feathercraft rudder. out of general orneryness I've opted out of the sliding footbrace hoohaa. Has anyone elso put hinged toe flaps (sprung with a bungie in the back) with an adjustable line to the cable? Using some of this fancy singlebraid 1/8" line (spectra, verlane, monte carlo?)with a constrictor eye for adjustments inbetween the toeplate and the cable eye by the bulkhead. Haven't thrown it into the water yet but seems to me that Feathercraft should get on the ball, this is too easy to not make as an aftermarket item for a lot less than Sealines new set-up.
