I have the cloth and the rotary cutter, but i remember reading here someone's post of using bias cut strips for this and the pulled on the strips as the applied them and the turned out 'white' in spots. The thread went along the lines that he had stretched the weave too tight and it did not wet out clear. The thread just petered out after that. So I have left this idea hanging. I have 3" 9oz tape too, but only planned to use this in the inside seam. What is best glass to use for the outside seam anyway ????

TIA:) Arthur
