: If someone comes up with a rack that will hold the boat rigidly, and let them
: flip it over so they are always working on the top

was just looking at a european cabinet door hinge and think a virtual copy but way larger would almost do it.

the one i'm looking at (mobel??) has the door side inset(cockpit analogue to inset say blocked forms), 2 long arms, built on a sort of extended parallelogram. it turns over about about 165- 170 degrees. probably close enough. make a 20x blowup out of say 5/8in ply.

another way might be the rotating sawhorse idea but attaching in the cockpit also.
