In Response To: SF Bay area source for cedar (Scott Fitzgerrell)

: Does anyone know of a San Francisco Bay (preferably East Bay/Diablo Valley)
: source of cedar for stripping? Need Western red and northern
: white--ideally. Rob sez his Shooting Star takes several 1 by 8s at 17 feet
: or more.

: Thanks in advance!

Hi Scott

Steve ? just found his Okoume plywood at a really good price at MacBeath in Berkeley. Don't know how close you are to them, but I would imagine there would be a MacBeath in San Fran as well. ??? Worth a shot, and they are on-line so you can find their locations on their site. Don't know their Web-addy but just search MacBeath lbr. and you should come up with it. Hope that helps.
