: While the problem has clearly been solved, I have since had that same idea to
: put a fan in the window to ensure there are no small leaks into the rest
: of the house by having negative pressure to the room. If opening the
: window alone doesn't create a slight negative pressure I'm going to attach
: a fan to a board and put it in the window. I might have to make some sort
: of restricter plate to control the amount of flow so I'm not putting too
: much pressure on the other side of the plastic. I'll have to get this
: built before I do my next glassing.

If I had to glass in your situation I would build room of sealed plastic around the work area.

Floor, walls and ceiling to totally enclose vapors. A light-weight wood framework to stretch the plastic over that could be disassembled when not needed is very possible at low cost. If you could include two existing walls you would not need to make a framework to hold the plastic on those sides.

A fan is a must. I’d get a two speed if possible. Fast when you're working with the resin and slow when you're done so you won't be heating the whole outdoors. Epoxy vapors are heavy and sink to the floor. This is way you don't smell them as much as polyester.

I would buy a large hose or make a ductwork at floor level running to the fan in the window to vent the epoxy vapors. And have a air intake from the house (warm fresh air) high on the other side of the enclosure. This will pull all epoxy vapors out of your house. Use a window for the fan that’s not facing the prevailing winds.

This would be the most effective (other than getting out of the house) way to minimize the problem.
