Hi Greg,

My first hollow core stick weighes in now at 33 ounces. I ended up removing more material at the root of the blade to make it more comfortable in my hand. The super light hollow core is 30 ounces. I figure the extra weight on the 33 oz. one is as a result of all the laminated joints and bigger diameter loom. But it's nice and stiff and plenty rugged!
